Adam's AMD Hot Box
Adam contacted Jeremy with a special request — and custom rigs are one of Jeremy’s favorite things to work on. Adam was bringing a bit of a challenge: the build he’d decided on is rather small, and the internet had already given it a nickname — the AMD Hot Box.

After a bit more consulting (and a few life delays on Adam’s end), it was finally time to build. Jeremy was so excited he forgot to take before pictures — documentation didn’t start until some of the wires were already managed and the power supply was mounted. Via zip ties, mind you. There was no way that thing was getting screwed in.
With the power supply secured, the rest of the wires got managed. It took a while — the left side of the case was so cluttered it was hard to make it look neat — but when all was said and done, the back panel came on and off with ease. If you’ve ever wrestled a case shut over a rat’s nest of cables, you know exactly what that means.
After plenty of trial and error, the mess started making sense and everything came together. The finished product turned out great — small case, big performance, zero cable chaos.
